100 Litre Hydraulic Fruit Press - 91327

What’s in the box? A 100L capacity hydraulic fruit press, 6 acacia racks, 6 machine washable press cloths, cheese former, pomace scoop and a tub of food grade grease.

  • A large cider press in the traditional rack and cloth style, supplemented by a hydraulic ram. This makes pressing much faster and requires very little effort to operate. The press is perfect for an established cider or juice producer with a lot of fruit that wants to increase their efficiency and juice yield.
  • Incredibly simple to operate: just pump the handle and the ram will descend, pressing the racks to extract the juice. This method of juicing is especially efficient and with properly crushed, ripe apples you can expect up to 75% juice yield by weight.
  • Heavy duty, welded steel frame protected by a tough, baked on polyester coating that meets British and EU EN71 safety standards.
  • Comprehensive 2 year warranty supplied as standard with all presses sold by us. Should anything fail during normal operation of the press, just let us know and we will replace the unit with no questions asked.

Please note: This press is large and very heavy so is delivered fully assembled on a pallet.

Pressing made easy, pump the handle and the ram descends and presses the racks to extract the juice. We recommend using an electric Mill (available separately), mill the apples. Swing the hinged cross beam off the press. Place an acacia rack on the juice tray and position the former on the rack. Drape a cloth over the former and fill the cloth with crushed apples (2" deep). Fold the edges of the cloth into the centre. Remove the former and place an acacia rack on top of the cloth, and repeat this process until you have several layers - known as a 'cheese'. There is no need to place an acacia rack on top of the final cheese.

Swing and fix the hinged cross beam back in place and pump the yellow handle to make the ram descend and press the racks. The thin layers of pomace allow the juice to flow laterally to give a quick and high yield of juice. 2 buckets of at least 27.5 litre capacity will be needed to catch the juice.

Easy to clean, simply hose down with fresh water after use and dry with a clean cloth. Lubricate the non-food contact metal parts with food grade grease; this will also inhibit corrosion of these parts. Store in a clean, dry place.
