Why Vigo Presses?
What we do
This 2 spout bottle filler speeds up the process of filling glass bottles and ideal for the larger scale amateur juice and cider producer. Hand-filling large quantities of bottles is quite difficult and time-consuming. This filler is easy to use with a filling rate of up to 200 bottles per hour.
Accurate filling is important for bottled products that are to be pasteurised after filling to allow space for expansion during pasteurisation. If bottles are overfilled there is a risk that they will burst if pasteurised with the cap on or overflow with the cap off. This filler provides a consistent fill level which can be adjusted as and when required.

A Speidel tank (30, 60, 100 or 200 litre) is positioned at least 30cm above the inlet of the filler and connected to the filler with the connection kit supplied. If required, the drill pump can be used to pump the product into the tank (see drill pump). The tap on the Speidel tank is opened allowing the product to flow into the filler.
The spouts require priming before each batch of filling by gently sucking on each to draw liquid into the long tube. The weight on the end of the tube has a valve to stop the flow of liquid when the bottles are not being filled. Bottles are placed over the two filling spouts and hang by their necks on the bottle support bracket.
The product quickly flows into the bottle and the flow stops when the juice level in the bottle reaches the same level as the juice in the reservoir.
The bottles are removed by lifting the bottles until the weighted end of the filling tubes rest on the floor of the reservoir; then the bottles are gently slid off.
The next 2 bottles are placed on the fillings spouts as explained above and the process is repeated.
