PRODUCT PRICES:

The product prices are listed against each product on this website. If you would prefer a price list or, if you already have a printed price list and want to check if your list is still valid, please download our Price List. N.B., the price list does not include packing and delivery charges or delivery information; please scroll down this page for this information.

The product prices listed are ex-works Vigo Ltd, Dunkeswell, Honiton, Devon, EX14 4LF, include VAT at the prevailing rate.

To the best of our knowledge the product prices listed are accurate, however, there may be rare occasions when we have made a pricing error and, if this is the case, you will be advised of any changes within 2 working days of placing your order.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS & DIMENSIONS:

All product descriptions and dimensions are given in good faith and are to the best of our knowledge accurate. However, similar products are sometimes bought from different sources and there may be minor variations in dimensions and/or descriptions and, if this is the case, you will be advised of any changes within 2 working days of placing your order.

PAYMENT:

Full payment is required on order. The payment method for online orders is by credit card or debit card only, and these will be processed online via Protx, a Payment Service Provider. For more information about Protx’s security measures, please see Payment & Security.

If you would prefer to pay by cheque you will be unable to order online, therefore, please print off an order form, fill it in and post it to us with your cheque.

STOCK LEVELS:

We try to keep good stocks of all our products, however, there are occasions when demand exceeds supply. If we are out of stock of any of the products on your order, we will telephone you within 2 working days of placing the order to inform you. Your options will be to wait until new stock arrives, to accept a substitute (if there is a substitute) or to cancel your order (please see Cancelling Your Order below). If you would like us to send out the products on your order which are available we are happy to do this; the remaining product/s will be despatched when we receive new stock at no extra charge.

ORDER CONFIRMATION:

Shortly after you have placed your order on line you will receive an order confirmation from us by email. The confirmation will include the following information:

1. Vigo’s address & contact details
2. The products that you have ordered
3. The prices including VAT
4. The delivery charge including VAT
5. Your payment status
6. Information about the right to a ‘cooling off’ period and how to pursue this

DELIVERY PRICES, METHOD, SIGNING FOR DELIVERY, & DEADLINE:

Delivery Prices:

Delivery is charged according to the value of your order. The delivery charges below apply to delivery addresses in mainland Britain, include VAT at the prevailing rate:

Orders up to £100: £7.50
Orders over £100: Delivery free of charge

To help our carriers, if the delivery address does not have a house number, you may like to supply brief directions in the Additional Delivery Information box.

If the delivery address is in the Scottish Highlands, or is offshore but within the British Isles (e.g., the Scottish Islands, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Scilly Isles, Channel Islands, Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, etc.), please contact us for a delivery quotation before you order. We will need to know the exact quantities and items that you wish to order. Because the delivery charge will differ from the charges above, you will not be able to order online, but we will welcome your order by phone, email or fax.

Delivery Method:

Small orders, such as a book or a straining bag may be sent by first class post at a charge of £3.00 postage and packing. However this charge cannot be levied on the internet service. To place such a single item order customers should telephone 01404 892101 between 9am and 4.30pm.

Standard orders will be delivered in cartons by Fedex carriers on a 2 to 3 working day delivery service. Please note, you will not be notified in advance of the likely delivery date. If you wish to arrange a particular day for delivery, please contact us on 01404 892101 as this can be arranged at an additional cost. If you have not received your order within 7 working days, please contact us on 01404 892101.

Large scale items, such as the 36 litre cross beam and Vigo rack & cloth screw press will be delivered on a pallet(s) by Palletline carriers by a 2 working day delivery service. If you order is to be delivered by pallet, we will telephone you prior to despatch to check the access to the delivery address, whether you require a tail-lift facility to lower the pallet from the truck onto the ground, and to advise you of the delivery date. If you have not received delivery by 4.45pm on the delivery date please contact us on 01404 892101.

Should you require delivery to take place on a certain date or by a certain time, you will not be able to order on line as the delivery charges online apply to delivery via 2 to 3 working day delivery service. Please telephone us on 01404 892101 to make special arrangements. We will be happy to take your order over the phone instead.

Signing for Delivery:

Someone will need to be at the delivery address to sign for the delivery when it arrives.  

You may not realise that when you sign the carrier’s consignment note on delivery, you are signing to say that you have received the goods “in good condition”, regardless of whether you have checked the goods in the carton/s or not.  If the goods arrive damaged or incomplete and there is a signature on the consignment note with no other wording from the recipient, the carriers refuse to accept responsibility for the damage or loss.  To help avoid this problem, please follow the procedure below when the carrier delivers your order: 

1.    Check that the number of cartons you have received corresponds with the number of cartons on the delivery note.  If there is a shortage, please write “only [insert number] cartons delivered” on the consignment note before signing.

2.    If possible, inspect your goods while the driver is there to check for any signs of damage or loss.  If there are no signs of damage and the order is complete, sign the consignment note.  If the goods are incomplete write, “[insert item name] missing from consignment” before signing.  If the goods are damaged, refuse to accept the consignment and ask the carrier to return it to the sender -  please contact us to notify us if this occurs. 

3.    If the driver won’t allow you to open the carton/s and inspect the goods, please write “driver will not allow inspection of goods” on the consignment note before signing.  If the carton is damaged on the outside (even the slightest damage), please also write “damaged parcel” on the consignment note before signing.

We regret that claims for damage or shortage can only be made if you have followed the procedure above, and if your claim is made within 3 days of delivery.

If there is no one at the delivery address, the carriers will leave a card with a contact telephone number to say that they have called and to ask you to telephone them to rearrange delivery.

Delivery Deadline:

Our aim is that you should receive your order within 7 working days of placing your order, excluding Bank Holidays and our Christmas & New Year break, subject to stock levels and receipt of full payment.

Please note, on rare occasions exceptional circumstances may prevent us from meeting delivery within 7 working days.

As we do not give you notice of the despatch of your order in advance, it is important that you advise us on 01404 890262 if you have not received your order within 7 working days (or, for palletised deliveries, on the delivery date specified) so that we can investigate and rectify this before the statutory deadline expires. After investigation, if we are unable to meet the statutory deadline, we will contact you to offer a revised delivery date after the statutory deadline or substitute products. Should you choose to decline either offer, a full refund (price of products paid and delivery charge) will be offered (see Refund of Cancelled Order below).

EXPORT:

We only export to countries within Europe. Unfortunately, due to the prohibitive insurance costs we are no longer able to deliver to countries outside of Europe.

For deliveries to countries within Europe (excluding the UK), we will issue a quotation for transport on request. Please telephone us for a delivery quotation before you order. We will need to know the exact quantities and products that you wish to order. Because the delivery charge will differ from the charges above you will not be able to order online, but we will welcome your order by phone/fax or email.

If your order is to be exported to EU countries, the products are subject to UK Value Added Tax (VAT) charged at the prevailing rate. If you are within the EU and the goods are to be exported to a destination outside of the UK, sales will be zero rated if you supply an EU VAT Number. Exports to countries outside the EU are zero rated for VAT.

COOLING OFF PERIOD:

You have an unconditional right to cancel your order within the period of 7 working days after the day you receive your order.

CANCELLING YOUR ORDER:

If you wish to cancel your order, we will require written notice (sent by post, fax or email) within 7 working days of the date you received your order. Please note, it is your repsonibility to take care of the products supplied from the time of delivery to the time of despatch via a carrier for return to Vigo Ltd. Vigo Ltd can only accept return of goods if they are unused, undamaged and in the original packaging.

RETURNING PRODUCTS ON CANCELLED ORDER:

We can arrange to collect your products by carrier if you request it within your written notice. If this is the case, we will contact you to advise you of the cost of collection, which will be payable by yourself (unless the goods were supplied as a substitute or are faulty) and, if you wish to proceed, arrange collection on a certain date. It is your repsonsibility to ensure the goods are packed with great care in the same way that you received them in, and to make the products freely available on that date for collection.

Alternatively, you may wish to arrange the return of your products yourself by carrier or other means at your own expense (unless the goods were supplied as a substitute or are faulty). If this is the case, it is your repsonsibility to ensure the products are packed with great care in the same way that you received them in. Should your products go missing, or get damaged in transit, it is your responsibility to claim for compensation from the carrier or delivery service you used.

REFUNDS FOR CANCELLED ORDER:

Refund for returned products on cancelled order: On receipt of the returned products at Vigo and after full inspection, provided that the products can be sold again as new, a refund for the product price as stated on your invoice, less the charge for collection of the goods if collection was arranged by Vigo, will be issued within 30 days of the date of your written notice of cancellation. If your order was paid for by credit/debit card, a refund can be issued in the form of recrediting your credit/debit card. If you order was paid by cheque, a refund will be issued in the form of a cheque.

Refund for cancelled order, prior to despatch from Vigo and delivery to you: A refund for the product price and the delivery charge as stated on your invoice will be issued within 30 days of the date of your written notice of cancellation. If your order was paid for by credit/debit card, a refund can be issued in the form of recrediting your credit/debit card. If you order was paid by cheque, a refund will be issued in the form of a cheque.

WARRANTY:

All our goods have a 12 months warranty against faulty workmanship or materials. Please note, damage caused to goods by the misuse or neglect of users is excluded from this warranty.If you have concerns about a fault or malfunction, please contact us in writing (by post, fax or email) within 12 months from the date of purchase.

We can arrange to collect your product by carrier if have requested it in writing. If this is the case, we will contact you in advance and arrange collection at our expense on a certain date. It is your responsibility to ensure the goods are packed with great care in the same way that you received them, and to make the product freely available on that date for collection.

Alternatively, you may wish to arrange the return of your products yourself by carrier or other means. If this is the case, it is your responsibility to ensure the product is packed with great care in the same way that you received them. Should your products go missing, or get damaged in transit, it is your responsibility to claim for compensation from the carrier or delivery service you used.

On receipt of your product at Vigo and after full inspection, provided that the product/s is deemed faulty or malfunctioning, we will offer you any of the following:

1. Repair or replacement and delivery of the product at our expense.
2. A refund for the product price as stated on your invoice and a refund for the collection charge if the collection was arranged by yourself. This refund will be issued within 30 days of the date of your written communication. If your order was paid for by credit/debit card, refunds can be issued in the form of recrediting your credit/debit card. If you order was paid by cheque, a refund will be issued in the form of a cheque.

If the product is not found to be faulty or malfunctioning, we will advise you accordingly of your options.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:

In the event of any claim being made against Vigo in respect of goods it supplied compensation shall be limited to the replacement of the goods or the contract value.

AMENDMENTS:

No amendment to these terms and conditions will be accepted unless made in writing and signed by a Director in Vigo. These Terms and Conditions of sale shall always apply regardless of any terms and conditions of purchase used by the Customer that may state anything to the contrary. No addition to or variation of these Terms and Conditions of Sale will bind Vigo, unless it is specifically agreed in writing and signed by a director in the firm. No agent or person employed by or under contract with Vigo has authority to alter or vary in any way these Terms and Conditions of Sale.

FORCE MAJEURE:

Vigo will be released from all liability to the Customer if performance of the contract is delayed or prevented by any cause whatsoever beyond it’s control.

DISPUTES:

Any dispute arising under these Terms and Conditions shall be determined by English law.
