How to Shop

You can order online if your address and the delivery address are within mainland Britain.

However, if either address is within the Scottish Islands & Highlands, Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Scilly Isles, or any country outside of Britain, please contact us, as the delivery charges will differ from our standard delivery charges, and you will need to order by phone:

Browsing & reading up

Our browsing by pages (left) are designed to help you make an informed choice by:

  • considering the resources you already have (types of fruit, quantity of fruit, budget, etc.)
  • showing you what you can do to make the most of specific fruits.
  • showing you what is required to do the activity well

To browse, please follow the instructions below:

  1. Under the green browsing by (left), click on an activity, for example, Cider Making. The activity page contains general information about the activity.
  2. To read up on a process related to activity and view related products, click on one of the yellow buttons, for example, Pasteurising.  The process page contains information about the process.
  3. You will need to scroll down the page to view the list of related products.  To read more about a product click on the product image or the product title.

Choosing your products

  • To select a product, click on add to basket to store it
  • To continue shopping, click on continue shopping

  • When you are ready to buy, click on view basket, then checkout

Buying your products

  • If you are a new customer, select create an account, or, if you are a returning customer, sign in. (To read up on what we do with the information you provide us, please see privacy policy & data protection.)
  • When back at the checkout, confirm the delivery information and click on continue
  • Confirm the payment information and click on continue
  • Check carefully every part of the order confirmation. If any amendments need to be made click on edit and amend.
  • If you have read, understood and accepted our terms & conditions please tick the box
  • If the order confirmation is correct and you wish to you wish to place your order, click on confirm order
  • You will now be forwarded to the Protx Secure Server for your credit/debit card to be transacted online. (To read up about online transactions via Protx, please see payment & security.) Please enter your credit card details, etc., as required.
  • If the credit/debit card is successfully transacted, you will be returned to our finished! page. We will then send you an email to confirm receipt of your order.
  • If the transaction is unsuccessful, Protx will instruct you to contact us on 01404 892101.

Receiving your order

  • Our terms and conditions (printable) give comprehensive information about the method of delivery, signing for delivery, and our delivery deadlines, as well as information about how to cancel your order. Please read these again carefully and follow the instructions.

  • Your order can be viewed by clicking on my account and selecting view the orders that I have made.

Logging out

  • To logout of your account, click on my account and select log out

Ordering by post/fax:

  • To place your order by post or fax, please click here to print off our order form, fill it in and send it to us using the address or fax number stated on the order form

Ordering by Phone:

  • We are happy to take your order by phone. Please contact us on 01404 892101. We open Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays and a week at Christmas), 9 am until 4.30pm.
